Access Anywhere

Young Jedi Hosting allows you to access any version of a Microsoft Access Database over the Internet using Microsoft Terminal Server Services and Microsoft Remote Desktop. This basically provides you with the ability to access the Access Database anywhere without having to re-code the application to make it "web enabled", our solution effectively does this for you and web enables legacy technology.

All we require is the Access database and the database can be updated (data entry) by end users using the Access Runtime which is a free license. For administrators we can rent an associated Access license (Access 2003, 2007, 2010) which will allow you to make development changes to the system. The system is paid for monthly and we take care of the backups as part of the service.

The system doesn't require a VPN or complicated setup all you need is the Microsoft Remote Desktop Client (RDP) which is available on all recent Microsoft Operating systems (Windows XP SP2 and above). To access the Enterprise Class Server running the database all that you need to do is key in a unique web address to our system and all the data is encrypted over the internet as well.
